Do you have a restaurant at your guest house?

Although we don’t have a restaurant where you can order from an Ala Carte Menu, we serve a two-course dinner almost every evening at our guest house.
Unfortunately, we no longer open our dining area and therefore dinner is always served as room service.

What do you serve for dinner?

We prepare a 2-course set menu every evening. The menu consists of a main course and a dessert. We inform our guests about the daily menu via email or WhatsApp in the morning. Then they can place their order before noon (12:00) latest (If requested, we can also advise you about the dinner menu the night before).

What time is the dinner service at By Bush Telegraph Lodge?

Our dinner service starts at 19:00 every evening. You have the option to choose between having your dinner in our dining room, bar or as room service.

How much does your dinner cost?

Our 2-course dinner is R180. But you can also choose to have the main course only for R150.
Dinner price is usually not part of the room deposits, so can cancel your dinner until 15:00 free of charge. However, if you cancel your dinner after such time, we may have to charge you the full price (depending on the dish).

Do you serve lunch at your lodge?

Yes. We do cater for special dietary requirements. However, we require a minimum of 24-hour notice to make the necessary preparations to accommodate such requests.

We can cater for the following diets:

What time does your bar open?

You can usually order from our beverage list between the hours of 16:00 and 20:00. However, if there is a high demand for bar service, we may extend the closing time. Whereas, if we don’t have dinners or other previous arrangements, we may stop the service without further notice.
