Room amenities-related questions

You may find the most often-asked room amenities-related questions from our guests on this page. Although you should find all the information you might need about our rooms on our Suites page, you might find some swift answers to some additional details here.

Do you have WiFi in your rooms?

We provide a free fibre-to-WiFi internet connection to our guests in all our rooms and throughout the entire guest house. Additionally, we recently upgraded our WiFi system with a power backup that keeps you online for about 3 to 5 hours even during load shedding. Furthermore, our internet connection has a 10Mbit/s download and upload speed capability, which should be ample whether you need to work or play.

Is there air-conditioning in the rooms?

Unfortunately, we don’t have air conditioning in our rooms as yet. Nevertheless, it is part of our future plans to upgrade our rooms and install air-conditioning units. At the moment, we supply fans for summer and oil-fin heaters with electric blankets during winter days.

Are there televisions in your rooms?

All rooms have flat-screen LED TV with a bouquet of DStv channels in our guest house. If you wish to see the list of available channels in our rooms, please take a look at our DStv channel list.

Do you have sports channels available in the rooms?

We have 9 sports television channels available in our rooms. Please refer to our DStv channel list.

Do you have news channels available in the rooms?

There are 5 news channels available in our rooms. Please use our DStv channel list.

Is Netflix available on your televisions?

Unfortunately, Netflix is not available on our televisions at this stage, but we are planning to upgrade our televisions in the future.

Do you offer tea/coffee in your rooms?

We offer a complimentary selection of tea and coffee, including a few of our well-known homemade cookies. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any special tea or coffee-related requests.

Is there a refrigerator/mini bar in your rooms?

Yes. All our rooms are equipped with a bar refrigerator. But we don’t offer a mini bar in our rooms. However, you can order beverages from our service bar during operating hours. Find out more about how our bar works.

Do you keep a hairdryer in your rooms?

We do have hairdryers available for our guests to use. Although we don’t keep them in the rooms, you are welcome to request one free of charge anytime. You can find the complete list of amenities we offer in our rooms on our Suites page.

Do you have safes in your rooms?

Yes. We have a smaller, standard room safe available in all our rooms. This is more suitable for safekeeping smaller valuables. However, this safe is not suitable for laptops and large objects.

Do you have a gown and slippers or sleeping masks in your rooms?

Although we don’t keep gowns and slippers in our rooms, they are available for you to purchase from the Reception. (Stock is subject to availability, pricing can be requested on arrival.)
